Pricing

Price is listed for each puppy. Pricing is different for Bernedoodle puppies based on markings.

$500 deposit is due after you pick your puppy!

(You can pick your puppy in person or via video chat)

Puppy picks are made between 4-5 weeks of age and picking order goes according to the date applications are submitted on (meaning; you get to pick first if your application is submitted first!)

The deposit is non-refundable and the remaining amount is due prior to the puppy going home.

Crate Training and Socialization

Our puppies are raised in our home and cuddled constantly.

We take the puppies with us wherever we go, and they will have experience with being in a car and loved our family and friends.

Our puppies have wonderful head start on the potty-training process and we send you home with tips to make it even easier!

They will each get experience with crate training and each puppy has it's own crate. We start slow at 5 weeks old and by 8 weeks they are sleeping in the crate at least 5 hours a night without waking. The hard part of adjusting your puppy to the crate is done for you!

Flight Nanny is available for price of ticket plus fee of $60 per hour of transportation time. Fee of ticket is added to deposit (non-refundable) after agreed upon. Flights only available while puppy can fit in airline approved carrier.

How Big Will My Doodle Get?

The size of your Bernedoodle will depend on various factors, including the size of the parent breeds (Bernese Mountain Dog and Poodle), as well as whether it's a mini, medium, or standard Bernedoodle. Here's a general description of each size category:

Mini Bernedoodle:

Weight: Mini Bernedoodles typically weigh between 25 to 49 pounds (11 to 22 kg).
Height: They stand around 18 to 22 inches (46 to 56 cm) tall at the shoulder.
Description: Mini Bernedoodles are the smallest size category and are achieved by breeding a Bernese Mountain Dog with a Miniature Poodle. They are known for their compact size, making them suitable for smaller living spaces and families looking for a smaller dog.

Medium Bernedoodle:

Weight: Medium Bernedoodles usually weigh between 50 to 70 pounds (23 to 32 kg).
Height: They typically stand around 22 to 25 inches (56 to 64 cm) tall at the shoulder.
Description: Medium Bernedoodles are a mid-sized option, resulting from breeding a Bernese Mountain Dog with a Standard Poodle. They strike a balance between the smaller Mini Bernedoodles and the larger Standard Bernedoodles, making them versatile for various living situations.

Standard Bernedoodle:

Weight: Standard Bernedoodles are the largest size category, weighing between 70 to 90 pounds (32 to 41 kg) or more.
Height: They can stand anywhere from 23 to 29 inches (58 to 74 cm) tall at the shoulder.
Description: Standard Bernedoodles are the largest and heaviest of the Bernedoodle sizes, resulting from breeding a Bernese Mountain Dog with a Standard Poodle. They are well-suited for families seeking a larger, more robust companion dog

It's important to note that these are general size ranges, and individual Bernedoodles may fall outside of these averages. Additionally, factors such as genetics, diet, and exercise can influence the final size of your Bernedoodle.

Will They Shed?

Bernedoodles, like many other doodle breeds, are known for their low to non-shedding coats. However, the degree of shedding can vary depending on factors such as the generation of the Bernedoodle (F1, F1B, etc.), the individual dog's genetics, and the specific coat type (straight, wavy, or curly).

Are They A Good Dog for People With Allergies?

Generally, Bernedoodles are considered hypoallergenic or low-shedding dogs, which means they produce fewer allergens and shed less compared to other breeds. This is because they inherit their coat characteristics from their Poodle parent, which has a reputation for being low-shedding.However, it's important to note that no dog breed is completely hypoallergenic, and individual dogs may still produce some dander or shed minimally. Additionally, grooming practices such as regular brushing and grooming can help minimize shedding and keep your Bernedoodle's coat healthy and manageable.

If you or a family member have allergies or sensitivities to pet dander, consider spending time with a Bernedoodle before bringing one into your home to ensure compatibility. Additionally, discuss coat characteristics and shedding tendencies with the breeder to find a Bernedoodle that best suits your needs and preferences.

If allergies are severe, I would advise against choosing an F1 Bernedoodle or an Aussie Mountain Doodle.

Are They Difficult to Groom?

Bernedoodles require regular grooming to prevent matting. It's essential to brush them daily, ensuring you reach through all layers of their coat, not just the surface.

While some sources suggest taking your Bernedoodle to the groomer twice a year, I personally recommend grooming every 6 weeks. This includes trimming around the eyes and face, which may need more frequent attention.

For bathing, I typically bathe my Bernedoodles once a week using a mixture of baking soda, water, and natural conditioner. I ensure to thoroughly brush them with conditioner in their hair before rinsing. Additionally, I bathe them with soap once a month to avoid stripping their skin of natural oils, using dry dog shampoo as needed between baths.
