This little guy makes eye contact and watches your every move. He wants to be with you at all times and loves to cuddle. So fluffy and sweet, he is hard to put down. Loves to kiss you right on the nose.
Honey bun is as sweet as she sounds! She will be about 80lbs fully grown. She has the most adorable face. Honey bun is confident and loves to be the center of attention.
Cinnamon is the largest of the litter and always thinking with his stomach! He is very funny and has an independent streak in him. He is great at cuddling and giving kisses.
Custard is second smallest of the litter and is very observant. He will look up for us as we approach and make eye contact. He will than toddle over for pets. Such a sweet and smart puppy.
Fruitcake is the smallest of the litter but is very strong and no pushover. He will outpace all the other puppies and never lets his smaller stature hold him back. There is no doubt he will be a bigger dog as he is very food motivated. He is also a cuddle puppy who likes to nuzzle in your arms to nap.
Pumpkin Pie is a funny rolly polly puppy. He likes to sleep on his back and paw at the air. He already is having lots of running dreams and it is so cute to see his little paws running in the air. Pumpkin is all ready for adventure!
Oh my gosh, this boy is hungry... all the time! He will be very food motivated! Such a sweet face with great ability to differentiate between people already! He is vocal and will let you know when he is ready to be held or needs a snack.
Our Bernese Mountain Dogs are full sized and will range 75-120 lbs. Girls will be 75-90 lbs and the boys will be 95-120 lbs. Journey is our Dam and weighs 75lbs, our stud, Lucky is 95 lbs. It is a good idea to maintain a healthy weight for you dog as directed by your veterinarian.
Yes, Bernese Mountain Dogs shed. I brush my dogs frequently to minimize the fur "tumble weeds" but the extra vacuuming is worth these big, sweet dogs. If you are looking for a minimal shed, check out our bernedoodles!
Puppies will be registered with the CKC.
Journey is dual registered - AKC & CKC
Lucky is CKC registered
Feel free to send me any specific questions you have about kennel clubs.
No, they are very easy to groom! There is no trimming. Online websites recommended taking them to groomers every 6 months. I bathe mine every month (water and baking soda) Bathing them with soap too frequently will lead to skin irritation and strip the skin of natural oils.
I personally brush more often as my dogs are couch dogs, but you can get away with brushing them once per week. Bernese Mountain Dogs typically have less of an odor, but I will use a dry dog shampoo as needed.
