Healthy Puppies

At Doodle Mountain the good health of every single one of our puppies is a priority.  Doodle Mountain is licensed by the State of Georgia. We work closely with the Department of Agriculture who perform regular onsite visits to preform inspections and consultations.  This way we ensure that the environment we provide is just right for new puppies.

Doodle Mountain can certify that our parent dogs have been genetically tested and are free of 210 different genetic defects. This ensures that your puppy is free from these inherent genetic diseases.  A link of the genetic panels of parent dogs will be sent to you for your review upon request.

We also certify that your new puppy has been to all recommended Veterinarian visits for wellness checks and has received all recommended vaccines on time and all vaccines are up to date. Your puppies medical record will be included in the puppy packet on rehoming day.

Your new puppy comes with 30 days of puppy insurance with Trupanion for extra reassurance that your puppy has professional ongoing health care support. We highly advise keeping insurance on your puppy and will help with any unforeseen issues. We have partnered with Turpanion as they cover any congenital or genetic issues that might have been missed. *

Make sure to follow through with future vet visits and keep up to date with vaccines and care. It's important to feed your puppy the appropriate amount of a healthy food for puppies and increase that amount proportionately over time as your puppy gets bigger and grows into a mature dog. Keep track of your puppy's weight and manage the diet so as to keep weight within a healthy range.
